Transportation Emissions & Green Infrastructure
I'm bridging the gap between transportation planning and landscape design by developing multi-scale frameworks—from state-level networks down to individual streets. My research maps emission patterns across Illinois' entire transportation system while also zooming in to reveal how specific road types and neighborhood designs drive carbon outputs. This dual approach allows me to identify precisely where green infrastructure interventions can transform high-emission corridors into carbon-capturing landscapes, making climate action tangible at every scale of planning.
